This is my personal website, which I use primarily to store things I'd like to remember.

Motivation: We live in an amazing and rapidly changing world.

Consider a future device, a sort of mechanized private library in which an individual stores all his books, records, and communications, and which may be consulted with exceeding speed and flexibility. It is an enlarged intimate supplement to his memory. - Vannevar Bush, As We May Think

We already largely live in this world. The capabilities contained in our pockets are beyond the wildest dreams of our forefathers. Every person is empowered to... instantly know all the restaurants in a 500 meter radius, to know how to get from anywhere in the city to anywhere else, to access any information that we have created - the wealth of knowledge of human societs, packaged and searchable for all.

Unfortunately, our devices aren't very human friendly, our platforms are antagonistic, and the tools are not durable - Google is dying and its breaking my heart. Old information, my memory supplements, are fraying. I do not recall the information itself, only the pathway to get to it, but those pathways are no longer as reliable as the once were.

So, we ought create our own respositories of information, our own set up of links, to recall and store all that we want to. The double sided paradox of the internet: Nothing can be removed from the internet, and, simultaneously, nothing on the internet lasts.

This is a jekyll site, which atleast is easily storable, and portable.
